Curly Nikki Article "Good Hair and 'The Talk'"

I believe I've told you all just shy of a million times that I frequent a lot of natural hair blogs and that this is where I get a lot of my inspiration for my current works of art...along with my own natural hair experiences. Well, I came across a very touching and inspiring story on one of my favorite natural hair blogs, Curly Nikki, and I wanted to share it here. It involves pouring positive messages into your kids to combat all the negative things they hear/experience when they're out and about in the world in order to build and protect their self-esteem. You don't have to be black, be a parent, or have natural hair to be moved and inspired by this story. Check it out.
