This isn't about basketball...sorry lol. March Madness is an annual fundraiser held by The Target Gallery and The March of Dimes and it raises money for both organizations. The Target Gallery holds nine exhibits annually and constantly explores new ideas through visual media. The March of Dimes is a charity that works to make sure every baby is born healthy.
The Art party is an exhibit of about 200, 10" x 10" works of art done by Torpedo Factory artists, DC-area artists, and local high school students from the TC Williams National Art Honor Society. I submitted two pieces :). In addition to artwork, the event will have a NCAA-like atmosphere with raffles, contests and prizes, music, games, a wing-off competition, and food & drinks.
The March Madness Art Party will be held at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA, March 16, from 7-10pm. Tickets are $15 advance and $20 at the door...it's a fundraiser.
