W&I: What INSPIRED you?
Casey: My biggest inspiration is the evolution of design. I love researching and finding how artists/creatives have flipped old works of art or even created their own new style. Nowadays, it's difficult to be "different" and as an artist/creative, if you can achieve that, I give you much respect.
W&I: I couldn't agree more. "Different" is a struggle lol.

W&I: What keeps you WIRED?
Casey: Honestly...knowing that I am one of very few female designers in the DMV. It makes my drive and passion even more intense because at the end of the day, I want my name to be known and respected. The two together, nowadays, are a hard combination to achieve.
W&I: How do you hope to inspire others?
Casey: Being in a high school setting lately has been amazing and the truth is, in trying to inspire them, they have inspired me. I try to make sure that everything I do is for or with a purpose because someone is always watching and you never know who you are inspiring or motivating. So I give my best in all my work I produce and advice I give.
W&I: Words of wisdom?
Casey: Life is a journey and, if and when, your path changes, embrace it and walk with your head up high.
W&I: We want to know more?!!
Casey: With every new project, I get excited. I currently just wrapped up doing design for Black Alley Band and am now working on the Spring collection for Laundry Day Brand.
W&I: Yes people...be sure to check out her clothing line, >> Laundry Day Brand << ...yep, she is a clothing designer as well. Talented I told you lol. Show some love and check her out at the links below!!

Another great interview... I love to hear about women trying to make a difference, especially when they're from my side of town.
ReplyDelete:) I'm from the DMV too so most of them will probably be from your side lol.
