Typography is the art of using type to make language visible through font type, font size, style and arrangement. The different styles in this art form are endless.

Here's some pretty cool typographic art via the blog Funandmania-Creatives...

I don't know what it is about words, letters, and fonts that intrigue me. I'm not going to be wack and tell you that I have favorite fonts, which are impact and syncopate lol. I was surfing the internet for inspiration one day and came across the site, Abduzeedo, a blog that provides tons of visual inspiration and useful tutorials. They have a whole category dedicated to inspirational images of typography. I think I'm going to incorporate this style into some of my artwork...don't know how yet. You should check out this blog, especially if you're a graphic designer.

Some of the typography featured on Abduzeedo...

I think I've fallen in love with this blog...got me on ebay looking for printing press letters lol. I saw a really cool piece of artwork made out of printing press letters in the National Portrait Gallery in DC like 2 weeks ago and I want to make it. It'll probably take me years to get that many letters though : /.

I'm talking about these things...
